Biography
Cor Bosman is a Dutch underwater photographer who co-founded XS4ALL, one of the first Dutch ISPs, known for internet privacy and security advocacy. He brought a technologist’s perspective to Wetpixel, becoming the site’s behind-the-scenes technical infrastructure partner — building the Google Maps integration, co-managing software upgrades, and creating social media tools.
He photographs primarily with partner Julie Edwards, specializing in macro critters of the South Pacific, particularly the Solomon Islands, where he spent “months” aboard the MV Bilikiki, visiting “twice a year” according to Eric Cheng. He started diving approximately 10 years before joining Wetpixel, shooting a Nikonos V before transitioning to a Nikon D100 in Subal D10 housing, later upgrading to a Nikon D2x ([1]).
